    IPEX Electrical Inc. introduces the latest innovation in the Floor Box installation practice, with the new Round Floor Box and Stand Kit.

    The Round Floor Box Stand was made with several height brackets; 2 ½”, 3”, 3 ½” and 4”, to accommodate the different rebar and post-tension cable heights and slab depths found on various job sites. The Floor Box alone can be used in concrete slabs 3”to 5 ½” deep, and when installed together, the Floor Box and Stand can be used in 5 ½” to 10” slab depths.

    Hydro Ottawa announced that it will soon receive support to help distribute funding to eligible applicants for EV charging stations within the city of Ottawa boundaries.

    This funding initiative will provide up to 50 per cent of project costs for the purchase and installation of EV charging stations for:

    GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GEH) and BWXT Canada Ltd. (BWXT Canada) have entered into a teaming agreement to cooperate on engineering and procurement to support the design, manufacturing and commercialization of the BWRX-300 small modular reactor (SMR).
