    CommTech 2021 will be held Virtually November 2-3, and is celebrating its 16th season across Canada.

    Touted as the premium ICT show in Canada, COMMTECH offers trade shows with more than 80 vendors, distributors, manufacturers and industry associations from the ICT industry. Presentation opportunities for 20+ topics is available over the two day show.

    Who Exhibits

    Indoor and outdoor suppliers and industry associations from across North America and Europe showcase their products and services over two days. Industry professionals are easily accessible throughout the show to troubleshoot, provide ideas and recommendations to assist our attending companies to grow their businesses and efficiencies.

    Who Attends

    200-250 attending companies visit COMMTECH annually, partaking in more than 20 seminars, workshops, and live demonstrations. Attendees come from all sectors of the ICT industry, including internet, telephone, cable wireline, and wireless service providers, sub-contractors, engineers, as well as IT professionals from government, regulatory, municipal, utility, and various related industries.

    Giving Back

    We welcome Education Professionals who train today’s youth for tomorrow’s communications needs by providing complimentary entrance to industry-related Students.

    CommTech has also donated to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), DAMS (Downtown Auxiliary Mobile Services) a project of the  Inner City Women’s Initiative Society’s (Vancouver) primary program as well as to Cops For Kids in British Columbia and bursaries for the Kelowna Institute of Technology. Additional donations support the SCTE Ontario Chapter, Crohn’s & Colitis Canada, the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, the Arthritis Society and Niagara Hospital Activity Book for Children who partner with Make a Wish Canada. CommTech also donated to the Red Cross towards the Fort McMurray Fire fund and the Humboldt Strong Community Foundation.

    General Fusion is working with Canadian Nuclear Laboratories in a vital project to advance fusion energy technology. Through this collaboration, General Fusion and Canadian Nuclear Laboratories will develop tritium extraction techniques for use in commercial fusion power plants.

    Hydro One announced the completion of critical upgrades to its Hawthorne Transmission Station (TS), first commissioned more than 60 years ago. By replacing aging infrastructure and energizing five new transformers at the station, these upgrades will help drive economic growth by increasing the amount of available power and improving reliability to the region.
