    Andrew Smardon and Jill Foley Join Catalyst Sales & Marketing

    CATALYST SALES & MARKETING announces the recent additions of two new employees to their team.

    Andrew Smardon joins Catalyst as the company's new Renewable Energy Specialist. Andrew will be responsible for designing residential and commercial solar systems, managing projects from conception through to the delivery cycles, as well as being our resident expert in electric vehicle charging and infrastructure.

    “Andrew’s background in project management, problem-solving skills and passion for sustainable solutions will help Catalyst continue to grow as a leader in solar and renewable energy solutions in our market,” said Mark MacDonald, Principal at Catalyst.

    Post High School Graduation, Andrew took some time away from his studies to work for his family business. In 2016 he enrolled in the 2-year Industrial Engineering Technology Program at Nova Scotia Community College where he learned various aspects of project management, sustainability and process improvement.

    Jill Foley joins the team as the new Director of Marketing. Jill will be responsible for all aspects of Catalyst’s marketing and communication strategy, working with manufacturers to ensure Catalyst’s marketing efforts align with manufacturers’ goals and ensuring distributors and showroom partners are abreast of the latest products and promotions.

    “Jill’s extensive experience and knowledge of strategic digital marketing will elevate Catalyst’s position in our market,” said Mark. “We want to set a new standard for marketing by a rep agency, and Jill will help us do just that.”

    Jill graduated from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax and spent the past 15 years advancing through various marketing roles in the media industry where she was responsible for social media and newsletter strategies, building relationships with community and business partners and managing strategic marketing campaigns driven by data and results.
