    UL Warns of Counterfeit UL Marks on LED Lamps (Release 17PN-12)

    July 31, 2017 – The following is a notification from UL that the LED lamps identified below bear counterfeit UL Marks.  The LED lamps have not been evaluated by UL to the appropriate Standards for Safety and it is unknown if they comply with any safety requirements.

John has a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Technology and Automated Manufacturing from the ITT Technical Institute. Professionally, he brings a wealth of experience to WAGO having worked in technical sales for over 30 years in companies such as Eaton, Pepperl + Fuchs, Inc. and Schneider Electric.

    WAGO North America has appointed Shaun Nagi as Regional Sales Manager for British Columbia. Shaun brings both technical knowledge and a sales background to WAGO. He holds a Diploma in Industrial Instrumentation and Control and has extensive experience in sales; he worked for 4 years in Industrial Sales for WESCO Distribution, 3 years as an Automation tech for Associated Labels, and 2.5 years in Electrical-Hydraulic sales for PSI Fluid Power.

    LSI INDUSTRIES has announced the appointment of Ron Newbold as President of its Lighting Solutions division. Ron most recently served as VP of Brand Management at Hubbell Lighting and had been with Hubbell since 1997, with progressive leadership positions spanning strategic planning, marketing, sales, and engineering. He began his lighting career at Lithonia Lighting in 1990, serving in roles of increasing responsibility in manufacturing, procurement, marketing, and product management. Ron received a Masters of Science in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University.

    Nora Lighting’s Multiple Lighting System series now features the new MLS Pull-Down LED Adjustable, which allows greater flexibility when illuminating retail or commercial displays. The trimless, recessed unit is suited for new construction, remodels or retrofits.

    Each MLS LED module can be adjusted in the housing or pulled down for precise aiming.
