The SmartGrid Canada Conference, a strategic partnership between SmartGrid Canada and the Smart Grid Roadshow, has grown to become the key event for the smart grid industry in Canada. Bringing together the best of the best in the industry, the conference will attract between 200 to 300 delegates, many of whom will be technology and business leaders from the Smart Grid Industry.
The host utility for 2017 is Toronto Hydro.
The conference will also be the platform for publishing the 6th annual Smart Grid Consumer Research. This research has become the benchmark in the industry for understanding the customer and how to better engage them in the modernization of the electricity system.
Grid resiliency, integrating energy storage, evolving the grid, consumer engagement and building smarter cities are the major themes of the 2017 conference.
The conference also hosts a set of technical seminars that will provide those interested in the nuts and bolts of the smart grid to ask questions of industry experts and discuss the engineering challenges we are all looking to solve.
