RC Lighting Introduces New LSTEALTH® Family of LED Motion Sensors

  • Apr 02, 2012

RC Lighting, the leading manufacturer of affordable LED lighting, proudly announces that it has expanded its popular family of motion sensors with the introduction of its new LSTEALTH® family of LED sensor kits. Combining its best-in-class sensor technology with its expertise in LED lighting, RC’s new 18 Watt LSTEALTH LED motion sensor lights are easy-to-use, all-in-one kits which now bring all of the long life, low maintenance, and energy-efficient benefits of LED technology to a broad range of outdoor and security lighting applications.

Ideal for commercial and residential settings where reliable security lighting is required, such as garages, decks, and yards, RC’s two new LSTEALTH products feature “FFLED18 RCL” 18 Watt LED flood light in two different but powerful sensor packages, both of which replace 70 Watt metal halide and with added motion sensing technology to deliver +75% energy savings. This pair will replace Sensor activated PAR and Tubular Halogen floods for even greater energy savings and eliminate frequent filament lamp replacements::

    • RC’s “LSTEALTH-360 RCL” model offers sensor coverage in both a 180° outward pattern as well as underneath the sensor for full 360° detection, features an evening timer mode to guarantee continuous lighting during a pre-set period, and carries an attractive 10-year warranty on both the luminaire and sensor.
    • RC’s “LSTEALTH-MS RCL” model features a smaller, more unobtrusive sensor unit which provides 180° detection in a cost-effective package. Reliable and aesthetically-pleasing, this workhorse carries a 5-year warranty on both the luminaire and sensor.

Simple to install and requiring minimal maintenance, both LSTEALTH products offer long, 50,000-hour LED life, are available in cool, neutral, and warm color temperatures, and feature 1,624 lumens of light output (cool light models). Highly durable as a function of their precision die-cast aluminum housing, LSTEALTH products are cUL-listed for wet locations and sport a minimum starting temperature of -40°C to ensure reliable operation in extreme weather conditions.

“We’re excited to have married together our best-in-class sensor products with our leading LED technology to produce the industry’s newest go-to outdoor motion detection systems,” says RC’s Ross Barna, CEO of the Northvale, NJ-based company. “Offering high-performing, long-lasting, and energy-efficient operation in an attractive and affordable package, RC’s powerful new LSTEALTH LED motion sensors may represent the last product end users will need to purchase to cover their outdoor security lighting needs.”
