      Greenlee, a Textron Inc. company has replaced its entire line of battery-powered crimping tools with a new line of lithium-ion powered tools. All of these new tools in the line feature IntelliCRIMP™, a pressure sensor that notifies end-users with both a visual and audible alert if the crimping force is below specifications for a successful crimp.

      “When electrical contractors and utility workers are expecting the necessary amount of crimping force, they need to be assured that’s what they’re getting to meet specifications,” said Jim Eisele, senior product manager. “This new IntelliCRIMP feature lets them know just that.”

      WAGO Corporation’s new line of DIN-rail mount 858 Series four-pole, double-throw industrial relays are engineered for robust applications requiring compact signal switching for power and control. The 858 Series can be ordered as Complete Relay Modules, or a customizable Socket/Base with standalone Relays as components. The Complete Relay Modules carry a four change-over contact relay, retaining clip and base featuring two conductor entries at each connection point. The Relay Modules also provide the most marking options/locations, including: two locations for marking strips or WMB markers, direct printing at conductor entries and an adhesive label option.

For the first time, the production of power from renewable energies, such as from a wind or solar farm or from biomass, will be combined with a modern pumped-storage power plant. The water battery can store surplus power from the grid and the energy can bereused as required. It acts as a short-term storage facility and contributes to maintaining stability of the grid, as well as guaranteeing continuous, uninterrupted supply.

    Nora Lighting expands its low profile, surface-mounted Opal LED Series with the new AC Opal. The AC Opal does not require a driver and mounts easily over a standard J-Box, even pancake-type fixture boxes in retrofits or new construction.

    AC Opal measures just 7/8” deep by 7 ¼” wide. The low profile is ideal for bathrooms, laundries, utility areas, pantries, closets, showers and more. The fixture is dimmable and produces even illumination with 1050 lumen (15W) at 90+CRI.  A white polymer lens diffuser eliminates LED diode images.

    The family of Push-in CAGE CLAMP® PCB Terminal Block complete the roll out of the new additions to WAGO solutions. This new family is composed of three series (2624, 2626, 2636) offering streamlined, compact connections for all wire types. Solid and ferruled wires can be directly pushed in for connection, while tool-actuated termination is available parallel to the conductor entry for stranded wire and for the release of all wire types. These PCB terminal blocks are perfect for panel feed through applications because operation and wire entry are from the same plane.

    Real estate in industrial and factory buildings is nearly always at a premium, so instead of using expensive space unnecessarily, Hammond Manufacturing offers a range of three sizes of fold down shelves. FDS Series shelves can be mounted either to the internal or external surface of the door or to the side of a cabinet. The shelves, rated at 100 lbs capacity, lock solidly up into the horizontal position when required and then fold down out of the way to save floor space when they are not needed.
