Electrical Line RSS Feed FANIMATION Unveils The Multimax: Versatile Ceiling Fan with a Variety of Design Options

    Designed as a versatile ceiling fan with six lighting and blade configurations, The Multimax™ has been unveiled by FANIMATION.  FANIMATION is a leading innovative and upscale ceiling fan designer and manufacturer.

    The Multimax™ is offered in a Chrome finish with reversible Cherry/Mahogany finished blades to complement today's interior décor.  The fan can be assembled in 2-, 3- or 4-blade configurations.

    A Frosted Opal Glass kit, featuring a lighting fixture and two energy efficient 18-watt, low profile compact fluorescent bulbs, is included.  For consumers that don't want to use the lighting option, a handsome Chrome-finished cap without the lighting fixture is also included with the fan.

    The Multimax™, which is rated for interior use, has a 52-inch blade sweep and a 14-degree blade pitch. 

    The fan includes a downrod, which is ½ inches in diameter and a six-inch length, with longer length rods available.  The fan can be mounted to sloped ceilings up to 30 degrees.  Also included is touch screen hand-held remote device that controls three forward fan speeds and three reverse fan speeds and the lighting fixture, as well as shut-off and delay timers.

    At a high speed, the energy efficient Multimax has an airflow of 5062 cubic feet per minute; it only uses 51 watts (excluding lighting); and has an airflow efficiency of 100 cubic feet per minute per watt.

    A close-to-ceiling kit, that mounts the ceiling fan closer to the ceiling, is also available.  The kit is ideal for interiors with lower ceilings.

    The Multimax is UL Listed for dry locations.

      Kemerovo in Siberia is converting to street lighting with LEDs by OSRAM Opto Semiconductors on a broad scale. The city of 520,000 inhabitants on the Trans-Siberian Railway has installed 200 street luminaires made by LLC TD Focus, which are equipped with Golden Dragon Oval Plus LEDs.       The largest wind project of any manufacturing company in the United States won final approval yesterday and is expected to start construction next month.

      Darien, Conn.-based hair-care manufacturer Zotos International Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Japanese cosmetics giant Shiseido Co. Ltd., got the green light for a $7 million, 3.3 MW on-site wind power project for its manufacturing plant in Geneva, N.Y. The project was unanimously approved by city officials last night.
