A newly-expanded line of compact fluorescent recessed downlights with 6- and 8-inch apertures is now offered by Nora Lighting for architectural and commercial applications.
The CFL fixtures utilize single and double 13W to 42W quad and triple tube compact fluorescent sources with deep drawn high grade aluminum reflectors specific to the lamp.
All models are Energy Star-compliant and have a full range of dimming options (from 1x 13W to 2x 42W). They are available with universal 120-277V electronic ballasts and can also be specified with dimming ballasts from Advance®, Lutron® and Universal®.
The Nora fixtures are offered in both horizontal and vertical configurations. Architectural frame-in fixtures feature universal butterfly brackets for suspended ceilings or T-bar installations. Commercial frame-ins include adjustable bar hangers for direct installation to wood joist, steel stud or T-bar construction, as well as a remodel version.
High quality Alzak® specular reflectors present a new range of options for architectural or commercial interiors and offer multiple features, including glare reduction, low iridescence, open wall wash and external glass accents. New reflector clips are integral to the housing and allow easy reflector installation.
More than 100 decorative reflector trims can be specified including wall wash, downlights or lensed. All models are UL-listed for damp locations and some lensed trims are UL-listed for wet locations.
Optional emergency back-up units operate one or two lamps for a minimum of 90 minutes. The units can be specified with remote test switch and indicator light or integral test/ indicator switch.
