About the Opportunity
A unique opportunity exists for a dynamic 'go getter' with this well regarded industry leader. Metcon is seeking a talented Field Service Technician to join their growing team in Concord. Escape the busy city life and work in a suburban industrial community in the City of Vaughan in York Region, located only 30 minutes north of Toronto.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide a high level of customer service as you setup and calibrate a variety of Metcon systems and equipment. You will act as a diagnostic technician as you trouble shoot, analyze, and maintain their clients' systems across Ontario.
You will be required to work with clients in the field including electrical, mechanical, and general contracts in towns, cities, water and waste water operators.
To be successful in this role, you will have graduated from an instrumentation or electrical program or have an equivalent combination of technical training and experience. You are a customer-driven, team-focused individual with the mechanical or electrical background and skills in order to succeed. Metcon is looking for an individual who has the ability to read and follow schematics. We are looking for a keen team player that can work as an independent operator in able to complete various tasks in the field.
