Electrical Line RSS Feed Eaton Names Krakowiak Vice President & GM – Canada for Electrical Sector Americas and Boccadoro Sr. Vice President – Sales & Marketing

    Jeff KrakowiakJeff KrakowiakEATON CORPORATION announces that Jeff Krakowiak has been named vice president and general manager – Canada for its Electrical Sector Americas Region, effective August 15th. Krakowiak will report to Rich Stinson, president – Power Distribution Division.

    Steve Boccadoro has been named to succeed Krakowiak as senior vice president – Sales and Marketing, also effective August 15th. Boccadoro will report to Sandy Cutler, chairman and chief executive officer.

    Krakowiak joined Eaton in 2005 from Visteon and previously worked for Ford Motor Company where he began his career as a product design engineer. Prior to his most recent role, he served Eaton as the Automotive Group's director of sales for the Ford account worldwide. He will be located in Burlington, Ontario, Canada.

    Krakowiak holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan. He also holds a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from Purdue University in Indiana.

    Boccadoro joined Eaton in 1987 from Peat Marwick where he was an audit manager. Since joining Eaton Boccadoro has held positions of successively greater responsibility in both Canada and the U.S., including controller, plant manager, marketing manager, and, most recently, vice president and general manager – Canada.

    Boccadoro holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada and is a professional chartered accountant. He will be based at WHQ in Cleveland, Ohio.

      Most people agree that saving money and being "green" are important — until 100 degree temperatures are involved. Survey findings released today by Honeywell following one of the hottest summers on record found nearly two thirds of American consumers chose comfort over cost savings and conserving energy when temperatures spiked.
