Saria LED PendantsThe California Energy Commission has approved the listing of Nora Lighting’s new LED fixtures on the Commission’s influential Appliance Efficiency Database. This approval certifies that Nora LED products meet or exceed California’s energy-efficiency standards for residential and commercial installations.
The products include all models of Nora’s LED LightBars, LED recessed down lights, LED tape lights and LED pendants.
The CEC Appliance Efficiency Database is featured on a new public interface website that allows real-time queries of more than 230,000 active appliance listings. Manufacturers can display both compliance and performance data, and consumers can run Quick Searches to compare appliance models.
Regional building inspectors use the CEC website as a guide when conducting inspections to certify that the lighting fixtures are approved and listed by the CEC.
Since January 1975, the CEC has been at the forefront of American energy policy, working to protect the stability of California’s energy resources. Even while the state’s population has grown significantly and more electrical appliances are in use than ever before, the per-capita electricity consumption has remained flat since the 1970s.

Nora LED Saria pendants, available in two models: 1W-LED with a cluster of multiple LED modules and a soft down light glow and 3W-LED with three 1-watt LEDs that produce an even, mini-flood of concentrated light without glare.
