      STANDARDS COUNCIL OF CANADA announces that Shawn Paulsen, Manager of conformity Assessment with CSA Group, was recently appointed by the Canadian National Committee of the International Electrotechnical Commission (CANC/IEC) as their New Vice-President.

      In addition to this role on CANC/IEC, Shawn is also completing his first term as IEC vice-president and chair of the IEC’s Conformity Assessment Board (CAB). He has a wealth of knowledge in both technical and policy standards work, having been involved with a number of Canadian and international activities.

      WESTBURNE CANADA Vice President, Dave Syer, announces the promotion of Mark Livingston to National Director, Vendor Relations, effective August 1st. Mark will work with Westburne Canada's four divisions and key vendor partners to drive continued growth and market share gain across its 103 Canadian branches.

      Mark started with Westburne in his hometown of Owen Sound, Ontario 34 years ago. Over that time he has grown within the company and held several positions, most recently as Divisional Vendor Relations Manager.
