      SOUTHWIRE CANADA has announced multiple process and organizational changes to the Southwire Canada team to improve customer experience – changes to improve accessibility, accuracy, consistency, reliability, responsiveness and timelines –  every time you interact with the company. Southwire's primary goal is to make it easier to do business with Southwire Canada and improve all customer experience functions.

      To lead these improvements, Maureen Russolo joins the team as Vice President, Customer Experience. Maureen has more than 20 years of expertise in customer experience management and will lead the company's Account Management, SAP and Supply Chain teams to ensure on-time delivery of products.

      Lind Equipment is proud to announce that its President, Mr. Brian Astl, is the recipient of Canada’s 2018 Clean50 award for his work in driving the success of Lind Equipment’s proprietary LED Jobsite system of LED lights for the construction industry.

      Brian has been the leader of the LED Jobsite system since its founding in 2015. His leadership and vision has created a product that is changing the face of construction site lighting. To date, the LED Jobsite system has empowered contractors across Canada and the US to save over 58M kWh of electricity, 32,000 kg of waste, and 41,000 metric tons of CO2E. Additionally, the LED Jobsite system has saved countless hours of labor and dollars of materials.

      STANDARD PRODUCTS INC., President & CEO, David Nathaniel, has appointed new leadership through a group of well-known and respected STANDARD members – Kelly Hanson as President, Jason Prevost as Executive Vice-President, and Daniela Di Pietro as Executive Vice-President of Finance. All three have been with STANDARD for many years and will use their extensive knowledge and experience in their new capacities. Jason and Daniela will be partnering with Kelly in managing STANDARD’s operating business, thus allowing David, as CEO, to focus on seeking new strategic opportunities for STANDARD. These changes are effective January 1, 2018.

    Arlington Industries, Inc. and Bridgeport Fittings, Inc. today announced that they have reached an agreement that settles all litigation currently pending between the companies. In connection with this settlement, Arlington has received payment of $1.37 million for the judgment in case No. 3:06-cv-1105 in the Middle District of Pennsylvania against Bridgeport’s 3838ASP and 3838SP Whipper-Snap Duplex connectors. Bridgeport has dismissed its appeal from that judgment and Arlington has dismissed its cross-appeal seeking attorney’s fees.

    FortWhyte Alive is unveiling the largest solar installation in the City of Winnipeg. The 60 kilowatt (kW) installation is made possible thanks to support from Bullfrog Power, Investors Group and Manitoba Hydro's Solar Energy Program.
