      The Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) opened its Annual Conference and Exhibition with news that 2009 will be a record year for wind energy development in Canada with new installed capacity from wind energy projects totaling 790 MW. By year's end, Canada will have 3,159 MW of installed capacity - with wind developments operating in in every province for the first time ever.

      Industrial Distribution Leadership Certificate Program

      For a number of years Electro-Federation Canada S&D has been working with other associations developing a training program for distribution in Canada. The program was based out of Mohawk College in Hamilton and, until now, required you to visit the campus to attend courses. Now, through collaborative efforts,  on-line training with instructor guidance has been developed where members from anywhere in Canada can become certified through their local college.
