Ballard FCgen®‐1040 prototype fuel cell stack, with Non Precious Metal Catalyst (NPMC)
Ballard Power Systems announced that the Company has collaborated with Nisshinbo Holdings, an Environmental and Energy company, to develop a Non Precious Metal Catalyst (NPMC) for use in the world's first commercialized NPMC-based proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell product. Nisshinbo and Ballard have jointly collaborated on the development of NPMC since 2013.
SONEPAR CANADA announces that Mike Spahr joined Sonepar Canada on September 5th, as its new Vice-President of Vendor Relations. Mike joins Sonepar Canada from Anixter, where he served as the Vice-President of Procurement and Supply Chain Solutions. Prior to his previous role, he held the position of National Logistic Program Manager at Anixter.
Pierre Pinsonnault, who held the position in the interim, will be returning to his retirement. Due to his industry expertise, Sonepar Canada may assign Pierre with future short-term and non-permanent mandates.

Weidmuller expands its u-remote Remote I/O product portfolio with two new IO-Link Master modules – IP20 and IP67.
